Imitation Pearls

Pearls from the glass depths. Imitation pearls are unique types of beads made by the JABLONEX GROUP. They are not essentially a special type of glass beads, but a separate technique of treating the surfaces of pressed or lamp beads.

The task of imitation pearls is naturally to imitate the appearance of the real thing. Pressed or hand-wound beads are dipped in chemical emulsions in order to achieve the pearl effect.

A top layer is formed on the surface of the bead after repeated dipping that is optically reminiscent of a real pearl. These days we mainly work with pastes on a titanium or bismuth base, the resultant appearance often an absolutely perfect copy of real pearls. JABLONEX imitation pearls are unique in their field and stand out mainly thanks to the following properties:

  • a huge range of shapes, sizes and colours. The range here is practically unlimited since it is not only classic balls that are dipped in wax emulsion, but any shape of pressed or fire-polished beads in line with the customer’s wishes.
  • top quality as expressed mainly in the stability of shape and size, the consistency and repeatability of colours and the durability, which is uncommon for sensitive imitation pearls.
  • the stability and scope of the production base, which guarantees wide availability and standard terms of delivery for the products on offer even during seasonal fluctuations of demand.
  • the longest tradition and global distribution.

JABLONEX PEARL RENAISSANCE imitation pearls have been an inseparable part of life around us for over 50 years now. They invoke in us feelings of beauty and luxury and images of exotic pearl hunters diving into the emerald depths of the ocean for their catch. JABLONEX PEARL RENAISSANCE imitation pearls are pearls too: real pearls from the glass depths.
