Neither huge production halls nor exacting machinery is needed to process glass rods. All you need is a table and a gas burner. It is after these so-called lamps that the rods are named.

The hand work which uses our glass rods might result in an artfully shaped figurine, a wound bead or another imaginative artefact. The fragility of the material so intensively radiates the hidden beauty of the earth that it leaves no human heart unwarmed.

Exceptional colours are sold in the form of lamp glass and so-called “high lead lampworking rods”. This has been used since time immemorial in the production of imitation precious stones and semi-precious stones. High lead lampworking rods have a special composition with a high content of lead oxide. The traditional ingredients make the material easy to process and at the same time allow the creation of glass that is full of lively colours whose shade and spark bring it close to natural stone.
